San Francisco, California, United States Trip: 2018-04   Update: 2019-04-09   By: yanz

Title: Palace of the Fine Arts in San Francisco, California

Preparation: Address: 3301 Lyon St., San Francisco, California It is a popular attraction for tourists and locals and is a favorite location for weddings and wedding party photographs. No admission needed. Parking: There is a small parking area near the theater entrance. If you arrive there early, you may be able to find a spot to parking your car; othwise, you can drive through the neighborhood and find a spot to park your car on the street.

General opinion: It's a must-see.

Attractions and activities: It is a beautiful place to visit. It has a spectacular views of the overall architecture, sculptures, lake, swan and other birds, huge trees, green grass areas. Kids can climb and play in the big trunks of some big trees. It's fun.

Dining: I did not see any on site vendor to sell hot meals. Bringing picnic food is a good choice. Sitting in the green grass area around the lagoon, watching the swan in the lake, and having picnic with family will make you feel happy.

Commute: Driving through San Francisco takes time but usually it would be an hour or so if you live in the Bay Area.

Things I wish I had known before: I wish I had visited this place earlier.
