Title: Point Reyes Seashore National Park and LightHouse

Preparation: Address for the park: 1 Bear Valley Road Point Reyes Station, CA 94956 Admission and Parking: Free First we drove to the Bear Valley Point Reyes seashore park, joined a ranger guided Earthquake Trail tour. We spent a couple of hours there and then found out there was a 45 minutes drive to the LightHouse. The tour guided trail exploration is also free. if you have tight schedule, you can directly drive to the LightHouse before you reach the Bear Valley. The Light House in Point Reyes is a very beautiful place to visit. The Lighthouse is closed on Tue, Wed, Thur. Open Fri , Sat, Sun, Mon. from 10am to 4:30pm. In the winter break, after sun set, it is very cold, windy. Remember to bring coats. Jackets. The Lighthouse visit is free. No admission, no parking fee. Parking on the side of the road and walking about 0.7 mile to the lighthouse. It's better to schedule 3 or 4 hours in the lighthouse visit plus the driving hours.

Attractions and activities: 1. Scenic points view 2. Lighthouse tour: it's free. In the lighthouse, there is a retired light equipment, a very unique one which was made in France in 19 century before the electricity available. It is retired in 1975.

Dining: I do not think there are restaurant or cafe available there. So bring some food to eat picnic there.

Commute: Many miles winded drive and be aware the speed limit. It's better to come back home before it gets dark. Even though we use Verizon for our cell phone, but there was no cell phone internet signal in some area and I could not search anything. Fortunately we have a GPS in our car and not fully rely on our cellphone's GPS.
